I'm John Grossi, and I've been cutting and soldering stained glass for about fifty years now. I'm retired these days, which mostly means I get to spend more time in the workshop. Stained glass has never been a business for me — it's the thing I love to do, and I'd rather a piece end up with someone who'll enjoy it than sit on a shelf.
I'm drawn to lighthouses and coastlines, old landscapes and buildings, grapevines and flowers — and, because I play in a band and can't help myself, a fair bit of music and jazz. Somewhere in the pile there's even a tribute to Rahsaan Roland Kirk rendered in glass.
Everything here is cut, ground, copper-foiled or leaded, and soldered by hand. If you see something you like — or have an idea of your own — I'd love to hear about it.
